Leaping into 2023
We are excited to kick off 2023 with plenty of snow and even more hype for our upcoming cross-country ski courses! These three-day events are always a fantastic way to spend time with friends and getting to grips with a new sport. Although cross-country skiing may seem a little sedate compared to tearing down groomers, don’t be fooled – it’s extremely addictive, takes skill to master, and the sense of flying almost unencumbered across the snow is fantastically freeing. (Plus – the shoes are far more comfortable than clunky touring boots.) Interested? Although our Sóti Lodge courses in Fljótin are now almost fully booked, there’s still space for you to grab a spot on one of our weekends in Siglufjörður, in collaboration with Hótel Sigló.

One thing we’re particularly excited about for 2023 is the launch of our brand new Sea to Summit ski-touring adventure in the beautiful Westfjords region. This is the perfect expedition-style holiday for any keen backcountry skier looking for summit-to-sea runs in a blissfully remote environment. With the oak boat Örkin acting as both your main mode of transport and your accommodation each evening, this is truly a unique, once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip!
